Saturday Looks Good to Me feels like a dream. Maybe it's due to the Phil Spector with a touch of Lee Perry production that creates a sound suitable for yesterday's AM radio. Whatever the reason is for its dreamlike quality, Saturday Looks Good to Me is a unique collection of talents and sounds, all masterminded by Fred Thomas of Flashpapr. The project's only peer may be Detroit's Teach Me Tiger, another venture that succeeds in looking back to create statements for the future.

Feels Good to Me is the 1978 debut solo album by the British drummer Bill Bruford. The band Bruford grew out of the line-up assembled for this album. Led by drummer Bill Bruford, the album features guitarists Allan Holdsworth and John Goodsall, bassist Jeff Berlin, keyboardist Dave Stewart and ECM flügelhorn stalwart Kenny Wheeler. He also enlisted singer and songwriter Annette Peacock.
Born as a basement recording project in the year 2000, Saturday Looks Good To Me brought together the jubilant fun of Motown and Northern soul with a decidedly indie approach. Songwriter and t Fred Thomas poured generations of influences ranging from the Beach Boys to Guided by Voices into dusty pocket symphonies recorded on four track cassettes. Enlisting friends from a community of musicians for one-time recording sessions was easy enough, but soon the band started performing live and the membership became a little harder to pin down
SLGTM's music also changed and the resulting Fill Up The Room (2007, K Recs) album was more adventurous both lyrically and musically than the band's previous two albums (especially on the six minute 48 second pop odyssey of "When I Lose My Eyes"). Following another European tour in 2008, Thomas retired the band to concentrate on other projects including City Center, and his record label, Life Like. The band reunited in 2012 with a changed line-up, and released "Sunglasses" on Polyvinyl Records. Dianne Falling Off Her Horse", "Springtime Judgment" (Ernest Jenning Record C. July 8, 2008).
