Talk about Various - Steamin! Hardcore '92

Mr.Twister
I guess this was just one of those major label compos that had caught the rave buzzword in the UK that year which was "hardcore", but didn't exactly understand what comprised Hardcore music outside of a couple of the more commercial rave tunes that had finally made the rather bewildered charts that year. It still amuses me that Simply Red could at ANY point have been mistaken as hardcore, steaming or otherwise. Come to think of it, was even 2Unlimited ever classed as Hardcore? Ok I got suckered in at age 17 into buying it and was sorely disappointed. Worth remembering just for the oddity that is Zero G's Peter & The Wolf, which I have NEVER heard anywhere else since, and is a rap over the top of a section of the classical version. Steaming Hardcore indeed!
