Ultimate Spinach is the 1968 self-titled debut album by the American psychedelic rock band, Ultimate Spinach, and was released on the MGM Records label (E/SE-4518) simultaneously with the debut LP of two other Boston area bands, Beacon Street Union and Orpheus. Both albums were heavily promoted by the label as being representative of the "Bosstown Sound". The commercial ploy was heavily driven in psychedelic music that attempted to replicate the San Francisco Sound.

Parmesan cheese, shredded. How to make breakfast egg muffins (step-by-step photos): In a large bowl, beat eggs until smooth. These delicious breakfast egg muffins with bacon and spinach are easily made in a regular muffin pan. Great recipe for when you need to make breakfast for a lot of people or make breakfast in advance.

The first album was a series of photos taken at Bert Stern Studios in NYC. David then superimposed them on each other and added his artistic touches. The second album cover was a beautiful and delicate painting. In this one, you can see David’s minimalist Japanese influence. I'm definitely going to listen to these albums again and look up some of the inspirations mentioned. Also the cat farm part was inspirational and amazing, maybe the best part of the interview.

Ultimate Spinach were a psychedelic rock band which formed in 1967 in Boston, Massachusetts. The band originally consisted of Ian Bruce-Douglas (lead vocals, keyboards, guitar), Barbara Jean Hudson (guitar, vocals), Geoffrey Winthrop (guitar), Richard Nese (bass) and Keith Lahteinen (drums). The band was part of a small psychedelic music scene in New England that was heavily promoted by MGM Records as the "Bosstown Sound".

Ultimate Spinach biography 'Ultimate Spinach' was founded in 1967 under the name of 'Underground Cinema' as the brainchild of t and songwriter Ian Bruce-Douglas. The same year the band changed their name to 'Ultimate Spinach' and recorded their first record for MGM, produced by the ambitious Alan Lorber. Lorber created together with MGM the marketing concept of the 'Boston Sound' (later 'Bosstown' sound) to propose (and sell) an alternative to the West-coast bands.
