A Lover’s Concerto' marks the apogee of the Girl Group sound. The song was subsequently recorded by the Lennon Sisters, the Delfonics, Sarah Vaughan, the Supremes, Mrs. Miller, Audrey Hall, and Kelly Chen. Another DynoVoice powerhouse of the mid-1960s emerged when Crewe discovered a band called Billy Lee & The Rivieras. Another often-recorded song from the 1965 Linzer-Randell album by the Toys is "Can't Get Enough of You Baby". The number, co-written by Sandy Linzer and Denny Randell, was also recorded by the Bay City, Michigan, rock group ? and the Mysterians, best known for their 1966 hit "96 Tears". The Bob Crewe Generation also recorded the original soundtrack (composed by Crewe and Charles Fox) for the 1968 Paramount Pictures motion picture Barbarella, starring Jane Fonda and directed by Roger Vadim.

You Only Live Twice is a 1967 British spy film and the fifth in the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions, starring Sean Connery as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. The film's screenplay was written by Roald Dahl, and loosely based on Ian Fleming's 1964 novel of the same name. It is the first James Bond film to discard most of Fleming's plot, using only a few characters and locations from the book as the background for an entirely new story.

Awhile back, Sundazed re-issued their "Lovers Concerto" album with two rare single A-sides, "Baby Toys" and "May My Heart Be Cast Into Stone". With this set, The Toys' recorded output is now complete. From 1965 to 1968 Bob Crewe struggled to find artists that would push his label forward, but as it turned out, the only group that burned up the charts was Mitch Ryder's Detroit Wheels. Crewe found a few month's fame with "Music to Watch Girls By", but folks only bought it thinking it was by Herb Alpert and then lost interest in his later work.
