Non-profit organisation. Salvation Army Peterborough Temple Band. Religious organisation. The Salvation Army, Alexandria VA Citadel Corps. Alexandria Citadel Songsters. The tune you hear is used in this march by James Curnow titled, The Southern Spirit and recorded by the Cap Band. Fear not, I am with thee, O be not dismayed, For I am thy and will still give thee aid; I’ll strengthen thee, help thee, and cause thee to stand, Upheld by My righteous, omnipotent hand.

The International Staff Band (or ISB) is the premier brass band of The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army history generally acknowledges 7 October 1891, the date on which Commissioner Bramwell Booth brought the 'International Headquarters Staff Band' into being, as the official starting point for the ISB's existence.

The Musical Offering (German: Musikalisches Opfer or Das Musikalische Opfer), BWV 1079, is a collection of keyboard canons and fugues and other pieces of music by Johann Sebastian Bach, all based on a single musical theme given to him by Frederick the Great (Frederick II of Prussia), to whom they are dedicated

Composed entirely of volunteer musicians, the band has developed an international reputation of excellence. The group was originally formed as the Washington Headquarters Band. Serving as the Band Instructor during the early years was Erik Leidzén, the internationally renowned composer and conductor

A member of the Konverse dance group (Barking, UK) at the The Whole World Mobilising Celebration (2017). Music was a key part of the meetings at the Boundless international congress (2015). Incidents of national significance morph quickly into legend. The Salvation Army will always be noted historically for the service it provided in New York, but more importantly, The Salvation Army will be remembered by the individual lives it touched. John Berglund, part of the Army’s response team on 9/11.
