Korn III: Remember Who You Are is the ninth studio album by the American nu metal band Korn, released on July 13, 2010. Vocalist Jonathan Davis stated that the album is "simple" due to the absence of the multi-layered effect present in the band's other albums; Davis added that the album is "about the vibe.

But anyway, this album was a huge improvement over their previous untitled album from 2007. That album had just two or three decent tracks. This one has no duds whatsoever. It roars along quickly, a nonstop Korn Train you could say. It's kind of a concept album, with Davis ranting about being tired of pleasing people on the majority of the songs. The bonus tracks are as good if not better than many of the tracks on the regular album. 2 people found this helpful. My faith has been restored in KoRn and I hope they keep putting out albums as exeptional as this one. If you are an old school fan you must give this album a listen.

See All. The Nothing.

This new album still holds KoRn 's unique ability to lose it in the music, for example the last concluding track " Holding All These Lies " is a very in-depth emotional song where at the end you hear JD lose it and burst into tears, which they kept in the master recording for that little extra that KoRn 's fans admire and of. course to bring reality into it, to show that JD sings from the soul and heart and KoRn is honest in the things they write. Content - 6 The DVD features the songs from the album (excluding the three bonus tracks) filmed as KoRn record them. The DVD also includes some great special effects to watch while KoRn records the songs you listen to. Although it would've been cool to have an option to turn them off because if you find them annoying there's nothing that can be done, and unfortunately that brings the score down quite a bit.

Musically, Korn tracks mix both heavy metal and hip-hop. Korn toured incessantly to promote their first album. With no radio play or MTV, they relied solely on their intensive live shows which created a large cult following of dedicated fans. Head" (Welch), "Fieldy" (Arvizu) and "Munky" (Shaffer). Korn had a constant formation for 12 years until 2005, when guitarist Welch left Korn after his decision to rededicate his life to Jesus Christ and his daughter. In 2012 Korn released an experimental album The Path Of Totality mixing metal with dubstep. This album has won them the Revolver Golden Gods Awards award for best album of the year.
