Bye, Bye, Bye. This song is by Murray Head and appears on the album Between Us (1979). The boy feels most peculiarOn his last day spent at schoolHe still can't find a place to sitIs accused of breaking rules. The young man is on the doorstepWhile his father bars the wayTo tell him he's unwantedWhen he'd never asked to stay. On the eve before his marriageHe isn't very sureBut surrounded by such ceremonyMakes him feel secure.

Having recorded the Everlys’ hit Bye Bye Love on their 1970 Bridge Over Troubled Water album, Simon enlisted them to sing on the title track of his watershed Graceland solo album in 1986. Phil and Don were the most beautiful-sounding duo I ever heard, Simon told the New York Times. Both voices pristine and soulful. The Everlys were there at the crossroads of country and R&B. They witnessed and were part of the birth of rock ’n’ roll. Phil was outgoing, gregarious and very funny. Don is quiet and introspective.

Bye Bye Blackbird is a 1993 jazz album by Keith Jarrett's "Standards Trio". It was recorded in 1991 in tribute to Miles Davis, who had died two weeks earlier. It was released on the ECM label only in 1993, as ECM 1467. As in other works by the Keith Jarrett Trio, this is an album mostly consisting of jazz standards. There are, however, two tracks written (or improvised) by the trio for the occasion, as a homage to Davis: "For Miles" and "Blackbird, Bye Bye".

Bye Bye Beautiful" is the second track on Nightwish’s Dark Passion Play album. The song was confirmed to be the third single from Dark Passion Play by Tuomas Holopainen in an interview, but it was changed to the fourth single from the album after the announcement of Erämaan Viimeinen's release as the third. A promo version of the track was leaked to the Internet on 11 July 2007. The full single was released on 15 February 2008 in three versions, CD, DVD and 12 inch.
