Label: Varèse Sarabande – 302 066 529 2. Format: CD, Album. Music Composed And Conducted By James Horner. Other Versions (2 of 2) View All. Cat.
What I disapprove most about James Horner is that he borrows from the works of others or reuses his previous scores (Titanic and Deep Impact, anyone?) for inspiration for his newest scores.
Given the longevity of his career, it's somewhat surprising to note that 2001's Enemy at the Gates represents composer James Horner's first foray into the World War II milieu, and while the score cherrypicks a handful of elements from previous Horner efforts spanning from Glory to Willow, it's nevertheless his most accomplished and original work in some time.
Cambodia: iii. Artist: James Horner. The sound world that I created for 'Avatar' had to be very different, really, than anything I ever created before. There is also three hours of music.
