Born to Be Burned is a compilation album by the San Francisco garage rock and psychedelic rock band The Great Society. The album is made up of material recorded during the band's short-lived association with Autumn Records in 1965, with the majority of it being previously unreleased. The exceptions to this are the songs "Someone to Love" and "Free Advice" (tracks 1 and 2 on the album), which had both been issued as a single on Northbeach Records, a subsidiary of Autumn Records, in February 1966.

Born to Be Bad is the seventh studio album released by George Thorogood and the Destroyers. It was released in 1988 on the EMI label. The album peaked at on the Billboard 200, and was on the charts for 24 weeks. Shake Your Money Maker" (Elmore James) – 3:29. You Talk Too Much" (George Thorogood) – 4:35. Highway 49" (Big Joe Williams) – 5:46. Born to Be Bad" (Thorogood) – 3:34. You Can't Catch Me" (Chuck Berry) – 3:45. I'm Ready" (Sylvester Bradford, Fats Domino, Al Lewis) – 3:20.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to introduce Born To Be Alive, the official continuation of I Will Survive! (Yes, this time it's serious, no joking!) The first page is scheduled to be published next Sunday. Good readings! Update: The first page has been published.

The album won't be out until Aug. 9, but you can hear the title track, the first single to be released off the record, below. There's some new blood in the band as drummer Randy Black (ex-Annihilator, ex-Primal Fear) and guitarist Damir Eskić joined in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Throughout most of their career, Destruction have operated as a thundering power trio and on Born to Perish, they bring a dual guitar attack for the first time since The Least Successful Human Cannonball, though the band has outright disowned that album  . Listen to the title track and see the album art and track listing below.

They clearly enjoyed a strong rapport on the uptempo selections as well as ballads like "My One and Only Love" and Mel Torme's "Born to Be Blue. Originally a vinyl LP, this album was reissued on CD in 1989, when Blue Note added an alternate take of the title song and a previously unreleased version of Charlie Parker's "Cool Blues.
