I Feel a Song is a studio album recorded by American R&B group Gladys Knight & the Pips, released in November 1974 on the Buddah label. It was their third overall album for Buddah. The first single release, "I Feel a Song (In My Heart)", reached R&B and on the Billboard Hot 100. The B-side, "Don't Burn Down the Bridge", also charted as a tag-along on the pop chart. A second single, "Love Finds Its Own Way", also charted, peaking at pop and R&B.

Gladys Knight & the Pips were an R&B/soul family musical act from Atlanta, Georgia that remained active on the music charts and performing circuit for three decades. Starting out as simply The Pips in 1952, derived from a cousin's nickname, the founding members were Gladys Knight, brother Merald "Bubba" Knight, sister Brenda Knight and cousins Eleanor and William Guest.

In the early 70s Gladys Knight & The Pips moved to the Buddah label and this was their third release on that label. Many thought the first Buddah release IMAGINATION was the best for it had solid tracks and the infamous MIDNIGHT TRAIN TO GEORGIA. For me the album I FEEL A SONG is just a little better and is almost perfection with its mix of varying styles of music and superb performances by both Gladys and those Pips. The title track is a soaring uplifting song that is one of their all time best

I Feel a Song is the studio album recorded by Gladys Knight & the Pips, released in 1974 on the Buddah label. The release became their third album for Buddah. Both commercially and artistically, switching from Motown to Buddah in the mid-'70s proved to be a very wise move for Gladys Knight & the Pips. The albums Imagination and Claudine were gem-laden smashes, and their winning streak continued I Feel a Song.
