Rushes is a 1998 ambient techno album by The Fireman, a duo composed of Paul McCartney and producer Youth. One line of lyrics included in the song "Palo Verde" was taken from an unreleased track of McCartney's, titled "Let Me Love You Always". Similarly, bits from another unreleased song, "Hey Now (What Are You Looking at Me For?)", was used in "Bison", "Auraveda" and "7 . Both unreleased tracks were recorded at some point during 1995, at McCartney's The Mill studio.
Four Corners is the fifth studio album of the American jazz group Yellowjackets, released in 1987. The album reached a peak position of number three on Billboard's Top Contemporary Jazz Albums chart. This was the first Yellowjackets album to feature Will Kennedy on drums. Russell Ferrante - keyboards. Jimmy Haslip - basses, vocals (on track 2). Marc Russo - soprano and alto saxophone. Will Kennedy - drums and percussion. Alex Acuña - percussion, vocals.
London's The Rushes seem at first like any other guitar band. Consisting of five good-looking chaps with scruffy clothes and even scruffier hair, their tunes have the sort of anthemic choruses, swoon-inducing melodies and catchy riffs that don't appear to stand out from the crowd. However, scratch a little beneath the surface and you'll find a group far more intriguing than the usual Libertines clones.
