Peter Stuart is an American singer-songwriter. Stuart is the founder and lead singer of the band Dog's Eye View, who are best known for their single, "Everything Falls Apart. In 2002, he released his first solo album, Propeller. Stuart is a native of Glen Head, New York, on Long Island, and currently lives in Los Angeles, California. His dad died when he was eight years old, and his first song was about his loss.

Peter Stuart is a British-born Anglican bishop in Australia. He is the bishop of the Diocese of Newcastle. He resumed administration of the diocese on 1 December 2016 prior to Thompson's resignation as bishop on 31 May 2017.

The album marked Stuart's solo debut. Stuart had previously formed the rock band Dog's Eye View in 1994 The album's lead single was "With My Heart in Your Hands". Dog's Eye View founder and vocalist Peter Stuart had left the band to pursue solo projects following their 1997 release, Daisy. Stuart, who had been a solo performer prior to forming Dog's Eye View, has stated that the idea of his making a solo album originally came from the group's record label, Columbia Records

Stewart followed up with his second live album, the acoustic Rhymes in Rooms (1992), which featured only Stewart and Peter White, and Famous Last Words (1993), which was dedicated to the memory of the late Peter Wood (co-writer of "Year of the Cat"), who died the year of its release  . In May 2015, Stewart performed the albums Past, Present and Future and Year of the Cat in their entirety at the Royal Albert Hall with a band that included Tim Renwick, Peter White and Stuart Elliott, who had appeared on the original recordings.

This album is a crisp-sounding work of art that will make fans of Beam’s sweet voice very happy. Naked as We Came,’ ‘Passing Afternoon’ and ‘Radio War’ are among the many standouts. Beck’s ‘Sea Change,' his eighth studio album, is a masterpiece of orchestrated acoustic splendor. While it’s not as quirky as some of his other recordings, it’s still an incredibly soulful work, from the overall concept to the arrangements of the individual tracks  . Home Again,’ from his album of the same name, pairs the singer's voice with laid-back guitar and light orchestration. We know Dave Grohl and his bandmates can do the loud arena-rock thing, but for their first live album, the Foo Fighters opted to go the acoustic route.
