Edward "Sonny" Stitt (born Edward Boatner, J. February 2, 1924 – July 22, 1982) was an American jazz saxophonist of the bebop/hard bop idiom. Stitt not only shows off his patented speed throughout, but he goes a long way in dispelling criticisms of him being all fire and no grace.
