This song is by Marvin, Welch & Farrar and appears on the album Marvin, Welch & Farrar (1971). Watch her ride the morning tideEasy as she swaysAs the sunlight plays upon the water. Faithful is the name she bearsFaithful has she beenOnce an ocean queen but still a lady. And as I watch the white of the sails in the sun catch the breezeI sigh, All too soon she'll be gone beyond the horizon. Gracefully she turns her head out to open seaEager for the freedom that she knows is there.

Marvin, Welch & Farrar is the eponymous debut album of British and Australian music group Marvin, Welch & Farrar. It was released in 1971. But it certainly sounds like it should have been. They also wrote "Marvin, Welch and Farrar crafted a rousing, respectable and utterly enjoyable early 1970s rock album. You're Burning Bridges".

Marvin, Welch & Farrar (aka MWF) were a 1970s British and Australian popular music group formed by Hank Marvin and Bruce Welch, both members of The Shadows – as a change of direction manoeuvre during 1970 to 1973 – and John Farrar (ex-The Strangers). The distinction was that while The Shadows were famous for their instrumental work, Marvin Welch & Farrar were a trio, vocal harmony group. They have been favourably compared to USA folk close harmony group Crosby Stills Nash and Young (aka CSNY) and The Hollies.
