The Song Spotters podcast is still on hiatus, but I'm still out there in the podcast landscape as co-host of The Listening Party Podcast. Song Spotters Podcast. 28 October 2016 ·. "Cuetrigger", the new album from Swiss band Hanreti crafts a chill, funky & jazzy niche carved out by frontman Timo Keller's background in hip hop. The album made my best of the week playlist at Audio Bonsai and it's a the perfect soundtrack to that well earned first beer of the weekend. Hanreti – Cuetrigger.

Some railway enthusiasts enjoy photographing trains as well. In the modern world, the Internet has come to have a role in train spotting.

However, if you lodge on the train during your trip (it's possible to stay elsewhere), like a high-class hotel most of the food is prepared on board, so the total price probably isn't shocking. The interior is completely designed with top-class materials. The reservations are almost always completely full. This is definitely a train marketed towards children. The JR Kyushu mascot Shiroi Kuro-chan is printed everywhere, and there is a library full of nicely-arranged picture books. There's also a "Tree Pool" full of wooden balls that you can play with.

ARMED with notebooks and pens, train spotters have become as much a British railway tradition as leaves on the line or weekend engineering works. A rail union claimed yesterday that spotters are to be banned from East Coast Main Line stations by train operator National Express. Gerry Doherty, general secretary of the rail union TSSA, said the ban would come into force when automatic ticket barriers are introduced later this year. Stations affected could include King’s Cross, Stevenage, Peterborough Newark, York, Leeds, Durham, Doncaster, Wakefield and Newcastle. Mr Doherty said: One manager actually told one of our reps that train spotters are a security issue.

Train-spotters are being told to leave stations as rail bosses tighten anti-terror security, BBC News Online can reveal. To many people, train-spotters are a joke. To Network Rail, the company which now runs the UK's train network, they are potential terrorists. The firm is telling train-spotters who are standing on platforms at its stations noting down names and numbers of locomotives that they must leave, or move to the station concourse
