Initially called Aditie Populaire, Populär was a Hungarian synthpop band formed in 1989. The original lineup consisted of four members, each brought together by their love of Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk. It took seven years to mold their 1995 debut album, Új Arcok A Feszületen (New Faces On The Crucifix). The album was also overshadowed by fellow synthpop compatriots Bonanza Banzai. Nevertheless, it was highly successful at the time of its release, almost reaching gold status.

Slyngel Rekords is back! The band this time called Bandages and came from Stockholm. They released an EP in 1978. They exchanged a few members,
including David Halvars from Bitch Boys in the band, and recorded a demo in 1980 that sounded much rougher than the disc.
The demo ended up on the radio program New Vags editorial which meant that the Swedish people got to experience a catchy punkpop song named "Popular".
