The minds behind Boulder, Colorado's well-loved CMKY festival will launch a new event series called PRISM at the historic San Francisco venue. The once Boulder-based Communikey (CMKY) will re-launch its one-off series beginning in San Francisco under the name "Prism". Now with members rooted in various cities across North America, CMKY's Prism will be devoted to bringing new collaborations and intersections to the dance floor while maintaining its already celebrated curatorial excellence. The first official date of the series will be SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6 at CAFE DU NORD with special guests AUSCULTATION (100% Silk, 1080p) and ABBY ECHIVERRI (The Bunker New York).

CMKY 2013 is designed to refocus on the fundamentals that have been at the core of the organization since its inception. Scheduled to take place from April 25th – 28th in Boulder, CO, this year’s festival features an eclectic array of artists from across the musical spectrum. Boulder Creek is a 3. -mile-long (5. km) creek draining the Rocky Mountains to the west of Boulder, Colorado, as well as the city itself and surrounding plains.
