End of an Era is a DVD and double CD from Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. Nuclear Blast recorded their live performance at the Hartwall Areena in Helsinki, Finland, on October 21, 2005, the final concert of a long worldwide tour for their album Once. During the concert the band was joined on-stage by John Two-Hawks, who performed "Stone People" from his album Honor as an introduction to "Creek Mary's Blood", which featured his voice and cedar flutes.

Never Known biography Mainly recognised as the owner of Afe Records and the frontman of the musical project Amon, Andrea Marutti also founded the textural and emotional drone, ambient prog (ish) Never Known at the beginning of the 90's. Nicely done and dedicated to all fans of silent music, deep listening and krauty hypno-ambiences. Almost without transition it directly carries on the completely sonic-black mental-scape with its strange metallic "doomy"-like echoes and high-pitch fantom-like frequencies. From dark austerity it passes to a beatific state of ravishement with the intimate and dreamy "On the Beach". This album is in the vein of the previous NEVER KNOWN, continuously beautiful with intensively mythical tellurian symbols.

Dawn Era - Merethic Era - First Era - Second Era - Third Era - Fourth Era. All Events Only Major Events. Note: The Dawn Era was a period during which time followed an incomprehensible nonlinear path and the very laws of nature remained unset, making a timeline an artificial fabrication. A conflict was simultaneously a mere ideological difference of opinion and a manifest war. As noted in The Lunar Lorkhan, this "War of Manifest Metaphors" renders the era mostly incapable of supporting a narrative. Since fixed dates during this time are unknowable, there is no specific nomenclature. The Anuad, a simplified creation myth, speaks of a third primordial force, a female principle known as Nir, which first gave birth to the cosmos before expiring Ruin - Worlds end.

The Dawn of an Electronic Era. The computer age began when ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator and Calculator) was completed in 1945. The first multipurpose computer, ENIAC set speed records with an amazing 5,000 additions per second. Computers have come a long way since-a laptop today can do 500,000,000 additions per second. That’s not the only difference. ENIAC weighed more than 30 tons, filled an 1,800-square-foot room and included 6,000 manual switches. It used so much electricity that it sometimes caused power shortages in its home city of Philadelphia.
