pupil); none for Peter Serkin (one of the 20th Century's foremost exponents of contemporary music); none for Busoni (considered by Arthur Rubinstein to be the greatest pianist of his time). Granted, Busoni's recordings would not have been enough to fill a complete volume, but it could have been combined with other neglected pianists who made few recordings.

Justin Timberlake, The 20/20 Experience (Part I) The great thing about The 20/20 Experience is how unexpected it was - not just in terms of Justin Timberlake’s long-awaited return to popular music, but in terms of its sonic DNA. The steely allure of Sexyback and his status as a single male each years behind him, Timberlake came back as a lovesick adult, bouncing old-school soul ideas off of his best bud Timbaland and writing a modern-day symphony for his beloved, Jessica Biel, that stretched for over an hour. 12. Taylor Swift, Red Red is the album that all Swift's subsequent releases must be measured against. She never needed to make an official announcement about leaving country for pop; on Red, she straddled both with ease.

Talk about Various - Dreamscape 20 - The Big Outdoors

"A reflection of 1995", it says on the cover, and they couldn't be more correct. Virtually every dance music genre which meant anything back in '95 is represented somewhere, even if briefly. Everything from lame handbag to wall-shaking gabber, it's here - for better or worse!Few will love all of the tapes, though - there's probably too much variety to appeal to everyone. I bought this pack for the techno and jungle sets, and those do not disappoint - all are superb.I will never want to listen to the "Progress" or Vibes/Dougal/Sy etc. sets more than once, as I can't stand piano house/handbag/prog house - even the TDV set, which is well-performed and a bit harder than the rest from that arena, just isn't as hard as his Trade sets, so it's not banging enough for me. I'm never going to like happy hardcore, either.However... it's also important to be objective. It's clear to me that fans of the happy hardcore/Progress DJs would not be disappointed. Some of the hardcore sets are (to me) - shock horror! - actually listenable. Which really must mean that they are about as good as they get! The Jon Pleased Wimmin and Pete & Russell sets couldn't be less like "my kind of thing" if they tried, but I'm sure that they would be considered excellent by those who like that sort of thing. So this pack really has to be given 5/5, as it is such a superb document of its time.
