One of the most interesting pieces of trivia about the album is that many of the songs were initially written for other artists but ultimately rejected (some of those artists include Adele, Rihanna, and Beyonce). This is Sia’s seventh studio album. Chris Ford of Christopher The Conquered did just that with an advance copy of I’m Giving Up On Rock & Roll. That advanced copy was passed from Natalie Prass to Ryan Adams.

Hail! Hail! Rock 'n' Roll is an album by Chuck Berry and soundtrack to the film of the same name, which was released in 1987 under record label, MCA. The album was recorded live at The Fox Theatre, St Louis, Missouri and Berry Park, Wentzville, Missouri on October 6 and October 16, 1986. The event was held to celebrate Berry's 60th birthday and it included several special guests.

I Love Rock 'n Roll is the second studio album by Joan Jett and the first with her backing band The Blackhearts. Soon after the first recording sessions at Soundworks Studios, original Blackheart guitarist Eric Ambel was replaced by Ricky Byrd. It is Jett's most commercially successful album to date with over 10 million copies sold, largely due to the success of the title track, which was released as a single soon after the album was released.

Their album cover is included here not because the Shaggs are in the same league as the Stones, T. Rex, Ike & Tina or the Replacements, but because the cover and the Shaggs' music is so decidedly, defiantly amateurish. Robbie Busch characterizes that cover as "a perfect naive artifact
