Album by George Harrison. Stephen Holden of Rolling Stone described the album as a "pop classic". Author Simon Leng refers to it as a "forgotten blockbuster".

Said George Harrison about one of his most popular songs, ‘Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)’. The song became the single that was released in the US on 7 May 1973, three weeks before the album from which it was taken – George’s eagerly anticipated fourth solo album, Living in A Material World. George had been busy working on the release of the Concert for Bangladesh album and film and so he did not start work on his follow up to All Things Must Pass until midway through 1972.

Lyrics - 7 Harrison 's lyrics have divided critics, or more specifically, his insistence on spiritual themes. Living in the Material World " finds Harrison resuming his Ned Flanders character, to an extent that some listeners may find pompous and tedious. Lines like " the leaders of nations, they're acting like big girls " in " The Lord Loves (The One That Loves the Lord) " feel overly simple and uninspired compared to the lofty achievement of " Within You Without You, " and he fails to deliver a chorus as endearing as " My Sweet Lord

George Harrison was billed as the Quiet Beatle, but as Martin Scorsese's 208-minute documentary on Harrison's life, 2011's George Harrison: Living in the Material World, showed, Harrison was much more complicated than that, emerging as a passionate, firm, stubborn, humorous, spiritual, and fascinatingly enigmatic man and musician

Runtime: 1 hr 46 min. In 1962 four young men - John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr - came together to form the 20th century musical phenomenon known as 'The Beatles'. The band stormed Europe in 1963 and, in 1964, they conquered America. Their groundbreaking world tours changed global youth culture forever and, arguably, invented mass entertainment as we know it today. All the while, the group were composing and recording a series of extraordinarily successful singles and albums
