Monkees, The: Daydream Believer. I'm Not Your Stepping Stone (оригинал The Monkees). Я не твой трамплин (перевод ). I'm not your stepping stone. You're trying to make your mark in society. Ты пытаешься добиться успеха в обществе. Your using all the tricks that you used on me. И используешь все трюки, которые испробовала на мне. You're reading all them high fashion magazines.

Album More of the Monkees. I’m a Believer Lyrics. I thought love was only true in fairy tales Meant for someone else but not for me Love was out to get me That's the way it seemed Disappointment haunted all my dreams. Then I saw her face, now I'm a believer Not a trace of doubt in my mind I'm in love, I'm a believer! I couldn't leave her if I tried. I thought love was more or less a givin' thing Seems the more I gave the less I got What's the use in tryin'? All you get is pain When I needed sunshine I got rain

The Monkees sang on this, but did not play any instruments. The producers used session musicians because they were not convinced The Monkees could play like a real band. This became a huge point of contention, as the group fought to play their own songs. Monkees drummer Micky Dolenz sang lead on this  . The Monkees' number, 'I'm a Believer', is ostensibly a love song, but we all know it refers to drugs. Leaving me to ask, who is "we"? Teresa from Mechelen, BelgiumGood song from the 60's written by Neil Diamond.
