Produced by Max Dingel & Ed Buller. Album To Lose My Lif. o Lose My Life Lyrics. He said to lose my life or lose my love That's the nightmare I've been running from So let me hold you in my arms a while I was always careless as a child And there's a part of me that still believes My soul will soar above the trees But a desperate fear flows through my blood. That a dead love's buried beneath the mud. Let's grow old together And die at the same time Let's grow old together And die at the same time
White Lies' debut To Lose My Life. recently entered the UK charts at and combines prose-purple darkness with rafters-shooting arena rock. can't be faulted in terms of tightness or radio-ready polish. White Lies could even get away with a little heavy-handed somberness if anything of their own (other than unintentional humor) shone through their reconstituted gloom-rock. A little less death, a little more love- of creativity, of life in all its urgent particulars rather than just the hand-me-down cliches that stand in for them- would go a long way.
