Wisconsin Singers newest show is a 90-minute revue of top hits of American pop music from the past five decades performed by the top talent of the UW Madison.
WISCONSIN SINGERS: UW–Madison’s campus leader in promoting the Wisconsin Idea. Featuring top talents from the UW–Madison, Wisconsin Singers entertains more than 80,000 fans annually with stellar vocals, stunning choreography, and spectacular big band sound. The Singers draws students from a variety of majors across campus who have a passion to perform, are committed to representing the excellence of UW–Madison, and enjoy the fun of giving 35–40 performances per year in communities across the state and nation as Official Ambassadors of Goodwill for our campus since 1967. The Wisconsin Singers program provides opportunities for students of all majors to perform pop music of the last 60 years. It is run almost entirely by the students themselves, who handle many of the elements of production-from booking to operations and music performance-and work alongside professionals who arrange, choreograph, and rehearse a 90-minute, revue-style.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Band Program offers a comprehensive selection of ensembles for students at the school. The wind band program consists of numerous ensembles based on the musical ability of the musician. The wind ensemble is composed mostly of music-majors and minors, graduate and undergraduate students alike. It performs traditional and contemporary repertoire of the highest caliber, ranging from the 16th century to premier era pieces.
