Simon Green aka Bonobo is back with nine perfectly formed tracks on a perfectly formed album. No huge, bloated, over-conceptualised rottage for the monkey man. Comes with unique download code for the entire album. Tracklisting is the same as on original release, however, this reissue actually contains two additional tracks on side D (Pick Up (Four Tet Remix) & Behind The Light), which makes the tracklisting on the back and on the labels incorrect. The track "Something For Windy" has also been replaced with the extended version of it "Something (Longer) For Windy". Runout grooves are also different from original release.
Bonobo: Dial M For Monkey by AAJ Staff, published on October 7, 2003. For all its strengths and weaknesses, Bonobo's sound remains his own. Far from repetitive, each new cycle incorporates a new twist-which, of course, is the modus operandi of live drummers.

Then, after discovering the song's source and listening to samples of "Dial 'M' for Monkey," I realized that Bonobo (. Simon Green) is a very inventive and inspired DJ. Rather than writing "tunes," Green sets a mood and then draws you in by developing it in interesting ways
