Too Low for Zero (stylized as 2 4 0), released in 1983, is the seventeenth studio album release by Elton John. The album marked a comeback for John, whose previous four albums had failed to yield many enduring international hit singles, and had disappointing sales compared to his string of hit records released during the first half of the 1970s. It is his best selling album of the 1980s, earning Platinum certification by both the RIAA and the British Phonographic Industry

Too Low For Zero (оригинал Elton John). I get the wake up call. Let that sucker jingle-jangle. I can't seem to get much sleep. I'm too low for zero, Я ничтожнее нуля, I wind up counting sheep. Nothing seems to make much sense. It's all just Greek to me.

Exclusive Prime pricing. Too Low For Zero" marked a bit of a creative comeback for Elton in the mid-80's. After a series of rather patchy albums with different collaborators and musicians, "Zero" re-united Elton with lyricist Bernie Taupin for every song and his long time touring band mates Davy Johnstone, Nigel Olsen, and Dee Murray. The result was his strongest overall album in quite a few years and one that still holds up well today.
