Ruby for a eye, light the jay with Jesus candle fire Conspire while the day begins, and rise another level higher Spend my time with' family and my friends, longevity’s desired Tranquility's acquired, lookin' at the water. Thinkin' about the past present future, livin' in tomorrow The things I used to want, I don't really want anymore So I'm focused on what's real, fuck the seven figure deals Fuck the liquor fuck the fame, fuck a temptress high off pills. Very far from a perfect picture Moms was miss, Pops was always mister No brother, never had a sister Gettin' high wit' Mr. Bill Withers.

This Time Tomorrow’ was written as Lloyd travelled through Europe, Central and North America and delivers driving rhythms that return Spiegel to his gut bucket blues roots. Shady and colourful characters spread out over continents and decades, through places forgotten and familiar. This Time Tomorrow’ is a return in fine form from an artist at the top of his game, and lead track sets the mood of the album right from the get go. Says Spiegel of the new songs, I’ve never written at home.
